He began his musical studies in Brescia with Sergio Marengoni, with whom he completed much of his artistic training.

He graduated with top honors from the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory in Milan, earning both a traditional Diploma in Piano and a Master’s Degree in Chamber Vocal Music (110/110, with honors and special mention).

He continued his studies in Paris with Nelson Delle Vigne, obtaining a double diploma in Piano and Chamber Music with top marks and the “Félicitations du Jury” from the École Normale de Musique “Alfred Cortot”.

He further refined his training with François-Joël Thiollier, Ian Hobson, and Helmut Deutsch.

He studied Composition in Brescia and Milan with Ugoletti, Facchinetti, Giacometti, Monego, and Brusa, and Orchestral Conducting at the Fondazione Claudio Abbado in Milan, where he graduated with top marks under Renato Rivolta, working with the resident orchestra “I Pomeriggi Musicali”.

He has attended masterclasses with Daniele Gatti, Riccardo Muti, and Yoichi Sugiyama.

In 2008, he obtained certification to teach Italian as a foreign language; in 2009, he completed a Diploma in Management at the Fondazione Accademia Teatro alla Scala in Milan.

His passion for the voice has led him to focus primarily on the Lieder repertoire and opera, working as a répétiteur, vocal coach, and music director.

He has collaborated as an accompanist in masterclasses led by Renata Scotto and Shlomo Mintz. In 2004, he was invited by the tenor Giacomo Aragall to serve as the official accompanist at the “Giacomo Aragall” International Singing Competition in Sabadell.

He has performed over 500 concerts in more than 15 countries, appearing in prestigious venues and international festivals, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the BBC Symphony Orchestra – John Adams Festival in London, Salle Cortot in Paris, Sala Verdi in Milan, Kyotofuritsu Fumin Hall ALTI in Kyoto, Teatro Bibiena in Mantua, and Teatro Grande in Brescia.

He has collaborated with numerous internationally renowned singers, including Marina Rebeka, Carmela Remigio, Daniela Dessì, Giorgio Zancanaro, Mario Malagnini, Paolo Gavanelli, Ambra Vespasiani, Leonardo De Lisi, Stelia Doz, Saimir Pirgu, Sonia Ganassi, Stefania Bonfadelli, Paolo Bordogna, Alex Esposito, Andrea Mastroni, and others.

He has recorded for RAI and RTSI, released CDs with Sarx Records and Stradivarius, and produced DVDs for Armellin Musica.

In 2018, he founded the Orchestra Filarmonica Musicale Internazionale, serving as its Principal Conductor.

He is a tenured professor at the Politecnico delle Arti Donizetti-Carrara, where he holds the chair of Collaborative Piano Practice. He also teaches Score Reading, Vocal Repertoire Practice, Sight Transposition, and Conducting of Vocal and Instrumental Ensembles (opera).

Since 2004, he has carried out continuous teaching activity at the Civica Scuola di Musica in Corsico, where he taught Piano, Chamber Vocal Music, and Vocal Coaching for fifteen years.

He has taught at numerous Conservatories of Music, including the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory in Milan, where he won the public competition for accompanist pianist, ranking first overall.

His students have received awards in major international competitions, including Belvedere, the Viñas Competition in Barcelona, Neue Stimmen, Accademia Teatro alla Scala, and the Zandonai Competition in Riva del Garda.

In 1998, he served as a television commentator for one season on the program “Amici di Sera” on Canale 5, hosted by Maria De Filippi. In 2008, he received the Mantova – Teatro Bibiena Award, granted by the Region, Province, and Municipality of Mantua.

In 2014, he was awarded the Centenary Areniano Festival Prize by the Municipality of Sirmione.

 Event Management and Academic Activities 

With over twenty years of experience and a Diploma in Management from the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala in Milan, he offers comprehensive musical and organizational consulting services.

He manages the administrative and artistic aspects of symphonic, operatic, and operetta concerts, overseeing every phase of the project with professionalism and attention to detail. Personalized consultations are available, and meetings can be arranged via videoconference.

He was among the promoters of the first editions of the Concours Lyrique International “Bell’Arte” in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium.

He maintains an active international teaching career as a Vocal Coach and collaborative pianist, working with prestigious musical institutions.

He has conducted courses and masterclasses in Italy, Belgium, Brazil, and various Asian countries, including:
